Yorkshire Main finished the season on a high with an emphatic 4-1 victory over FC Brimington. Facing a side with squad numbers and names in their back of shirts, Main took the lead in the 27th minute through Steven Newton and should have quickly doubled it but Luke Hindsley fired a penalty wide. However, Hindsley made amends and became the ‘main man’ by bagging a hat-trick with goals in the 33rd, 72nd and 85th minutes. David Alder-Heaver scored a very late consolation for the visitors in the 86th minute. Yorkshire Main finished the season in fourth position in the Abacus Lighting Central Midlands League Black Dragon Premier Division, moving ahead of Easington United who lost their final game at Bentley Colliery.
